Experiencing true love is a pretty vague concept but we all still know what the best love for us is teenage love. It reminds us of the days when we used to be crazy and open to new feelings. The summer breeze that made us fall in love with our crush and we used to think about her on our father’s front porch.
The feeling of vulnerability and the naivety of the first love that we could experience was really a beautiful feeling. The beauty we used to look for during our school hours and follow throughout because we were too chicken to confess our feelings. These are simply the things that can thaw even the coldest heart.
But sadly, there aren’t a lot of teen romance books that deserve to be read. Which is what makes the survival of readers a bit challenging who wish to read up on teenage romance. This is exactly why I’ve conducted my personal research and constructed a list of teen romance books that will definitely make you wish to fall in love.
8 Heartwarming Teen Romance Books
1. The Hometown Groom
This book is written by Jennifer Youngblood. We all have treasured and fallen for the feeling of that typical Texan love once in our lifetime. It deserves to be fancied due to the raw vibe of the lone star state which just attracts you on a different level. And so this book really won’t disappoint you whether you talk about the storyline or the vibe.
This book revolves around a hunky quarterback who eventually falls in love with a high-strung barrel racer. In the story, the female lead character is supposed to marry a well-hung billionaire who is supposed to be of financial help to her father as her father’s business went through a recent merger.
But instead of going through with the marriage, she goes on to an adventure of her own. On the journey, she meets a handsome man with blue eyes who is so tempting that she couldn’t control herself and eventually falls in love. Now she has to decide and choose what she wishes to do next as it will carry the fate of her life. This book heads on to figure out whether our female protagonist chooses to love or marries the billionaire under family pressure.
2. Where the Road Takes Me
This book is written by Jay McLean. It actually brings to mind those beautiful vintage love stories that can make anyone blush. It revolves around two very different and guarded souls named Chloe and Blake. If you wish to read a book about those vintage love stories that are quite rare in today’s world, then this is what you should go for.
Chloe is a girl who loves the freedom of living on the go and doesn’t want to let anyone into the doors of her heart. Meanwhile, Blake is a serious basketball stellar who likes to keep his secrets and is a kind of a private person. The journey of their lives that lead them to each other is nice but it gets much differently beautiful when they both meet.
Blake completely changes eventually after meeting Chloe and falls in love with her. But Chloe is still pretty strong on her promise to herself and doesn’t wish to let Blake in. She wants to live her dream of living on the road and feel whatever she wishes on her own terms. This book will head on to show the journey of Blake trying to convince Chloe to stay back and be with someone who can be her potential soulmate.
3. The Kissing Booth
This book is written by Beth Wreekles. This is another wonderful book on teenage love which is extremely marvelous and it even has a Netflix movie made on it. It consists of two best friends Elle and Lee but these aren’t the people who are supposed to fall in love. These two have certain rules to govern their friendship and strictly follow each of them. One of their most important rules is to not date each other’s relatives.
Lee has an older sibling named Noah who is literally one of the dreamiest guys that anyone could’ve ever seen and he is a bit of a hunk. He doesn’t tolerate anything bad happening to Lee and is quite fine with getting into fistfights which is something that intimidates Lee a lot.
When Elle gets a chance to run the kissing booth of her school, she is greatly excited and her crush on Noah starts to spill out. Soon enough they start dating but she can’t tell this to her best friend whom she discusses everything with. The book covers the journey of Elle between these scenarios and Elle has no idea what might happen if Lee finds out.
4. Hot Dog Girl
This book is written by Jennifer Dugan. It circulates around a girl named Lou Parker who is set out to have the most wondrous and exciting summer of her life. She thinks it is going to be great as she gets her job at Magic Castle Playland.
However, her summer becomes a bit bleak when she realizes that everything she wanted to see out of the summer is different. She has to wear a hot dog costume as required by her job and her crush is dating the girl who is currently playing the princess of the park. And then she finds out that the park is meant to close by the end of summer which makes her quite sad and she wishes to save it. The book goes on to highlight her attempt at doing so.
5. Five Feet Apart
This book is written by Rachael Lippincott and it is not like any other book on the list at all. The concept of this book is completely different as evident by the title. It revolves around a seventeen-year-old girl suffering from cystic fibrosis who is in a hospital and has to stay there for her treatment. She is having a miserable time at the hospital and finds her life to be dull.
She soon meets another patient suffering from cystic fibrosis whose name is Will. Despite their conditions, they form an instant connection and feel quite close to each other. This connection eventually turns into love and makes them fall deeper and deeper. This book is written by Becki Albertalli. It has been such a great book that it even had a movie adaptation on it named “Love, Simon”. In this book, Simon Spier is a teenaged boy who is gay and hasn’t come out of the closet yet. He is quite scared of everyone’s prejudice and doesn’t wish to tell anyone yet.

Witness the story of Simon through this rollercoaster journey to find out if he finds love and along with the courage to confess the fact that he is gay.
7. A Walk to Remember
This book is written by Nicholas Sparks and I don’t think I have to say a lot about this one because of the fact that it has been a timeless classic. It has even been made into a movie which was loved a lot. The storyline is beautiful and shaped in a way that is surprisingly awesome. And since we all know the author, this book will make you cry too.
It revolves around a teenage boy named Landon Carter who is a fun-loving boy and is kind of a kook. He somehow falls in love with an outcast named Jamie Sullivan who is a quiet girl. All of this takes a surprising turn when their love is challenged by a life-threatening illness to Jamie and it all boils down to the saddening end where Landon loses Jamie. The transformation of Landon due to Jamie is adorably beautiful.
8. The Fault in Our Stars
This book is written by John Greene and I don’t think I need to introduce you to this one much either. It is another book on this list with a tragic yet beautiful ending. It will make your tears fall down like rainy showers and you won’t be able to control it. The whole book builds up to a wondrous storyline.
It revolves around a teenage girl named Hazel Grace Lancaster who suffers from cancer and is quite depressed from her life. She finally is forced by her mother on the doctor’s recommendation to join a support group where she meets Augustus Waters who is also a cancer patient. He is full of life and changes Hazel’s life completely until they find out that his condition has gotten worse and he only has a few more days to live.
The rest of the books tells the story of their lives where Hazel tries to start coping with the fact that Augustus is dying and they both try to cherish their days together as loved ones to each other. It really makes you cry when the end strikes and Augustus comes through for Hazel one last time even after his own death.
