Official Review
Aesop’s fables is a collection of 80 + beautiful, timeless fables each of which give invaluable advice to its readers. The topic touched upon issues like life, money, attitude, friends, kindness, togetherness, peace of mind and the like. Every proverb sums up the story really well and is told so beautifully yet simply that it is sure to touch the heart of every reader.

Our favourites in the collection are The Lion and the Statue - We can easily represent things as we wish them to be; The Man and His Two Wives - Yield to all and you will soon have nothing to yield; The Two Pots - The strong and the weak cannot keep company; The Wind and the Sun - Kindness effects more than severity; The Miser and His Gold - Wealth unused might as well not exist; The Old Man and Death - We would often be sorry if our wishes were gratified; The Fox and the Goat - trust the advice of a man in difficulties."

Each story in this collection of fables uses minimum words and expresses such hard-hitting messages that when implemented will ensure that we live our life to the fullest. Despite being written so many years ago, each piece of advice is worth implementing and holds true even today.

Though many people have dismissed Aesop’s fables as a children’s book, the messages in this book appeal to people across all ages, mindsets, languages and castes. Also the fact that they are explained so simply add to the beauty of this book. A must-read for everyone and must-have in everyone’s personal library.
