Book launch of Another Chance at Crossword, Pune.

With the “winter-monsoons” still working their way out of the country, dropping the temperature way low than usual, we warmed our hearts by attending the book launch of Ahmed Faiyaz’s second novel – Another Chance – at Crossword recently in Pune.
Renowned authors – Deepak Dalal, Sonja Chandrachud and Paristosh Uttam too graced the event with Sahil Khan, (of Tossed Salad and Yolkshire fame) moderating the event. Also present was Jaya Nair, (Publisher- Grey Oak Publishers India Pvt. Ltd.) and Pune’s very own RJ Shrikant.
The podium opened up with a volley of questions for author Ahmed Faiyaz and his second novel – Another Chance. He discussed about the ideation of this book, the title choice, the characters, the writing style, the challenges in penning it, the theme’s relevance in today’s age and the whole gamut of possible queries.
The story revolves around Ruheen Oberoi and the men in her life and her decision regarding who should be given “Another Chance”. A very contemporary love story of today’s time with prime focus on the complexities of human heart, emotions and relations.
Tullika Wang joined in much later towards the end of the evening and shared her thoughts on the same. The ceremonial unwrapping of the book at the hands of Paristosh and Tullika marked the end of the event leaving the audience with an eagerness to pick up the book and enjoy it over a relaxed weekend.

It truly is another feather in the cap for Ahmed Faiyaz and Grey Oak Publishers.
